Obviously Anna can't be in a sequel. But towards the end of the film you saw that "The Girl" was becoming like Anna. So maybe in a sequel the story could revolve around her more. Or maybe Sam joined another band once punk began to fade, which he did in real life he formed Beargarden. But post your ideas on what stories you would have in a sequel to DIS you can use the characters from the first movie or create new ones...

That's what I would do. Focus on how Sam used this tragedy to change his own life. He clearly cleaned up his act somewhat. BTW when Richard Lowenstein said Beargarden sounded like Spandau Ballet..I thought he was making a generalization. He wasn't. They REALLY did sound like Spandau Ballet. Makes it kinda funny. But, I don't want a DIS sequel if Michael isn't alive to be in it.

Frankly, without Michael in it, I wouldn't even know how to begin to think of a sequel :-)
