Michael's Madame Tussauds Wax Statue

MH spent hours sitting for this wax statue to be made in 1997. What do people think does it look like him? A lot of fans weren't too keen on it back then when it was put on display.

Is this the one at the Rock Circus in London? It seems to me I've seen a picture of another wax figure too.Looked a little more life like. I'm not to keen on this one, but what a thrill and honor that must have been for him to have a wax figure made!

This is the Madame Tussauds MH statue that toured Australia in the late 90's...it's the one MH did in 1997 where they had to measure him for hours to make it exact. Personally I don't think it's a very good likeness, the eyebrows and mouth are wrong. And looks a bit too aged.

I think from the neck down it looks fine, but they really need to re-do the head. He was so handsome! This wax figure does not do him justice!

Yeah neck down is fine! LOL! The other picture I saw, then may have been from MT's Rock Circus in London. It was from the X years. I'm pretty sure Michael was wearing the shirt he'd been photographed when he and Kylie were first an item, and also the one he wore at the MTV VMA's when they performed Suicide Blonde. Does anyone know of the other wax figure I'm talking about?

I have been to Madamme Tissauds in London and believe me not all statues are credits to the people they present.

I agree with everyone the face is all wrong! The hair is not quite right either.I do agree that it is an honor.

David Coverdale looks like my grandmother, Jim! LOL! I've always hated this statue myself. But, I'm willing to bet that Michael was stoked about it and that makes me happy. We Americans screwed the pooch on showing Michael appreciation when he was alive. Something I'll always regret.
