I loved this. It was really well done. Did it ever develop into a full documentary. I hadn't realized he'd done 'Stay Young.' I thought he was a film student. Shows what I know! :) Thanks for sharing.

Peter has being kinda putting his own little project together for a number of years himself. He was actually meant to direct a movie about INXS over a decade ago which was to be called 'INXS: The Journey'.
In 1999 I went to his house a couple of times and we talked about the movie script, and people had even started to be interviewed for the film.
Then Peter was involved with the filming of the TTD gig with INXS that year. And made a little promo doco called 'INXS: The Reunion' which was shown on tv about the INXS with TTD gig.
I think the trouble was there wasn't enough worldwide interest in a story on an Australian band, everyone only wanted a story on the international rockstar MH instead. His life is where the interest of a movie is. So all the movie companies were like we dont want an INXS movie, we only want a MH movie.
But Peter's MH stuff is only really just his own little project, it's not a doco he is doing on behalf of MH Trust. But he's being in touch last year, so if he wants to release anything oneday he will ask the trust for permission.
Another project Peter Clifton did was that 'Australian Now' home video in about 1982 which had an interview with MH in front of Luna Park and featured The Loved One and Stay Young.

Thanks for the answer to my question Matt. Hope his own little doco gets out someday.
I've got Australia Now on vhs. Better transfer it to dvd before it disintegrates!Posted 1 year ago # -
I think movies about bands where the members are played by actors are horrible. The Def Leppard movie comes to mind. Got through about one scene of that one. I was not even close to being interested in seeing that Slide Away movie. Michael's ghost talking to a teenage Tiger?? Really? NO.... The Peter Clifton clip was very well made and he seemed to have footage that no one else had. I think it would be well done and true testament to Michael's talent. The Trust might want to encourage the completion of the project.

This is my favorite Tribute video to Mike.
I did stumble across what I assume to be Peters site a while ago, don't know if I still have the link, that's where I 1st saw this video and there was an excerpt stating he was working on a MH Project but that post I think was from a while ago if I find it again I'll put the link here.
It would be interesting to see if he is involved in the up coming material to be released this year, he does excellent work, and Thanks Matt for the information on things he has been involved with very interesting.

Peter is a cool guy but he isn't who is directing the MH doco film. We can hopefully announce who the director is soon.
