What Official Michael Hutchence merchandise would fans like see available? What items will do justice to Michael's legacy? A lot of music legends have their image on just anything and it looks tacky. So what items do you actually want?
MH Merchandise items?

The Hutch Ring would be my number one pic and a leather bracelet that ties onto your arm with a 9.95 sterling silver star that say Shining Star inscribed on it

I am leaning towards the ring..:)
But a bracelet is also a possibility!Posted 5 months ago # -
I'm glad this has been brought up. I've thought alot about this since the appearance of all of these Michael websites and whatnot. Michael wasn't a myth to me. He was real and he mattered to me. I don't want there to be a Graceland for Michael. I don't want to see his face on a collector's plate. I know this kind of thing is out of our hands. His estate will decide what to license his image for. I just hope he is respected. As Michael once said, this is all for Tiger. Anything Michael's image or name is licensed for should be something he would have approved of and something his daughter would be proud of. I say stick to the music and tasteful photographs (i.e pictures of him in concert or photoshoots) I would love for his movies to have a chance at gaining a wider audience. Limp didn't get a fair shake I don't think.

I remember back in '92 when I first saw the ring, there was an INXS-zine my friend made and sent out to INXS fans that were on Prodigy. I still have them somewhere, maybe back up at my parents house in PA. Anyway, this question came up and I always said I wanted that Hutch ring. I'll have to look into seeing how much it costs and maybe get one for me! I would love to own something like that! That's very cool! :)

The bracelet is great... would go one step farther and make a charm bracelet... a microphone with his name... guitar pick... drum sticks... I thought about designing a purse... very Betsey Johnson...

A bracelet would be nice. This may sound odd, but I have a very simple stainless steel bracelet with my beloved (deceased) dog's name engraved on it. I put it on my wrist over a year ago and have yet to remove it. It brings me solace.

I've missed out on the ring :-(, so have given this more thought. How about a range of t-shirts that can be bought DIRECT/ONLY from here?
Or, how about a range of jewellery with a simplistic 'MH' motif, or some other symbol synonymous with Michael (I've no idea what that would be, but add you own comments/ideas)?Posted 5 months ago # -
Hey Matt
I'd sooner get this sort of thing from official sources/here;

Hey Jim - we will be having an official Michael Hutchence merchandise store on this website in the future. Which is why I started this topic to get fans to tell us what types of items they want made.
As you would know over in the UK and infact everywhere in the world, there is all kinds of items made for "music legends", but a lot of them aren't really quality items.
Like at the moment in Australia you can buy AC/DC anything! There is even baby clothes, thongs, cushions, bar stools...like pretty much there is AC/DC everything! There is just too much and it's kinda tacky.
INXS played the merchandise game well in the 80's/early 90's...like I have literally hundreds of different designs of INXS shirts stored around here. They turned INXS into a brand name, and in terms of Australian bands anyway they really pushed the merchandise big time.
At present there is no official Michael Hutchence merchandise for sale. I know myself if I walk into a shop and see all John Lennon, Jim Morrison, Jimmy Hendrix, Elvis and all the legends like Michael it's kinda disappointing there is no Michael items for fans to buy.
So official MH merchandise will be coming, and we will have a store on this site so fans can buy worldwide too :)
But keep writing in your ideas, this site is all about getting the fans involved, so tell us what you want to see!

Hi Matt
'vintage' look tees are all the rage (a big leader in the UK is the Amplified range), and celeb exposure such as this Van Halen example only helps;
http://www.vhnd.com/2010/02/19/van-halens-new-line-of-high-end-designer-fashion-apparel/What's needed is some of Michael's high profile old friends - Bono, Kylie - and even the likes of Brandon Flowers or Rob Thomas seen in high profile events, wearing a sample of a range. I actually bought this one a few years back and it's great quality, and personally endorse it;
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/INXS-Michael-Hutchence-Classic-Rock-tribute-T-shirt_W0QQitemZ140385899986QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Music_Music_Memorabilia_LE?hash=item20afa6d5d2#ht_1723wt_1165On an INXS vibe, I'd have liked their logo to have been pushed as simplistic tees along the lines of the AC/DC logo tees.

I like that shirt, Jim. I would buy that too. Something cool and tasteful that honors him.
