Hutchence movie to cause sparks?

The late INXS singer Michael Hutchence’s estate and members of his family are set to lock horns over plans for a new movie.
UK production company Amazing Industries announced that XS; The Story Of Michael Hutchence will be based on the 2000 book Just A Man written by his sister Tina and mother Patricia Glassop.
Director Asa Bailey is commissioning screenwriters, casting directors and production crew. But Los Angeles based agency APA, which controls Hutchence’s intellectual property on behalf of Michael's Trust, has informed Amazing Industries it has not “approved or endorsed” the movie.
This film may join a forthcoming Broadway musical, and a documentary planned on the artist's life.
A deal inked between Hutchence’s former manager, Martha Troup, and US talent and literary agency APA after the singer's death in 1997 set up "Michael’s Trust" to “develop projects that highlight Michael’s genius.”
Troup told The Age in February that plans were already underway for the documentary, in spite of INXS’ refusal to give permission for the use of the band’s music.
"We've already started talking to producers and directors about a documentary, and I think we have that figured out. A documentary is going to be made. I will make sure, no matter what, and I hope it is with everybody's blessing."
