With the 13th anniversary of Michael's death under 2 months away, and in light of the neglection of his memory on his 50th birthday - that is until THIS Facebook group put it firmly in the spotlight, and forced others to acknowledge it - I'm hoping you can all join in and push that music channels (TV especially) make an effort to broadcast tributes to Michael's passing.
In recent years this has been neglected year on year. Michael's contribution over the years (with INXS) to music video, was reknown worldwide with awards and recognition even when album sales may have dwindled. Why he doesn't get recognition when you consider some of the stuff they some time and again on TV amazes me.
With your help I'm hoping we can push music channels (TV and/or radio) into broadcasting some form of tribute, even if it's just Live Baby Live, or greatest hits videos packages. It will need us to focus in large numbers to have these channels take notice. We have nearly 8 weeks to force the issue.
I think maybe the following would be a great start;

Please share your ideas on the "Michael Hutchence and his legacy" group Wall. For your respective countries, can you post to the group Wall links or email addresses that we can all contact for each other, to help you get shows on in your country.
As with the 50th birthday campaign earlier this year for Don't Change, can you please try to get as many of your friends on board to help, and post to various Michael Hutchence/INXS pages, groups, forums, web-sites as you can and those of music channels (TV and radio) so this becomes a well known and stronger campaign, please.
It doesn't need people to join our Facebook group, to help us make this happen, but it would be nice to see that we're getting new support, so suggest they do.
Keep The Peace
Jim
